Applicaiton of Welan Gum

Welan gum can be used in the construction industry; In the petroleum industry, welan gum can be used to prepare drilling mud to maintain the viscosity of water-based drilling fluid and control its rheological properties. Welan gum is also a new type of oil-displacing agent. It is used for tertiary oil recovery in oil wells.

Key Performance Characteristics

Viscosity：

Warm wheel adhesive solution has good viscosity, giving the mortar system excellent viscoelasticity, plasticity, and toughness. It effectively improves common mortar problems such as cracking, hollowing, blistering, and peeling.

Pumpability：

Warm wheel adhesive reduces fluid resistance and has a lubricating effect, reducing friction between cement and sand particles, making the mortar easier to pump. When the shear force overcomes the yield value, it reduces the mortar's flow viscosity, making pumping easier, improving conveying efficiency, and thus reducing overall costs.

Anti-Sagging：

Using warm wheel adhesive improves the stability and anti-sagging properties of mortar, preventing mortar sagging or clumping during construction and preventing sagging or slippage during thick-layer mortar construction.

Water Retention：

This product has short molecular branches, a small proportion of molecular branches, high intermolecular cross-linking, strong forces, strong water retention, and resistance to dilution. Used in mortar, it ensures a uniform distribution of various components in the mortar, resulting in a homogeneous and stable mortar that prevents sedimentation, stratification, and bleeding.

Stability：

This product has stable molecular chains and tight intermolecular bonds, making it resistant to oxidation and deterioration. It maintains high stability over a long period.

Compatibility：

This product is highly resistant to acids and alkalis, has no ionic activity, and does not react with other materials in the composition. It is more compatible with all commonly used admixtures, including naphthalene and polyacid additives, than cellulose ethers.
